Please help with Disneyland Reservation

DH & I are booked on DCL's Hawaiian cruise April 29, 2012. We want to book a room at either the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier for one night before (Apr. 28th) using our DVC points.

We can book at 11 months - tomorrow - but the point charts are not yet posted on the DVC member site. Can we book before the point charts are published?

They may allow you to book the stay, but you won't know how many points you'll need until closer to December.

I don't think you can book @ 11 months out as this wouldn't be a home resort booking... (though have never tried booking a non-DVC resort with points).

Actually you can book the Disney Collection at 11 months - but - I called today & told MS what I was looking for. She was putting the info into the computer, then asked if I could hold while she "checked the inventory". She came back on the phone & said I couldn't book it yet. I asked if it was because the points charts were not out yet & she really didn't answer that. She said "just call back every month or so".

Guess I'll just wait till the points are published & try then.
