You know, I'm sure alot of ladies here can help you. There is a whole board just for Disney Cruises. Might get some good info there.

Definitely check out the cruise forum, they are very helpful over there! We went on the Wonder 5 years ago, and will be going again this august (land/sea). It's really a great cruise! The food is great, too... :thumbsup2

I really like the DCL we are having our honeymoon on the cruise. They cater to adults and kids. I know if you go during an off season it's cheaper. We are getting a 4 night cruise for 2 adults cat. 6 for about $1800 in Jan.

Lisa (Seaprincess) might be able to help you out-- she has been on the DCL like 16 times (sorry if I am off by a few years Lisa)....

She will know a lot-- shes helped me a lot already!

GL!:thumbsup2

Hi Louise and Andrew,

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptuals!!! Yes, Maggie is right (thanks for the shout out  ) we have cruised with Disney 16 times. I can tell you that you will not go wrong bt choosing the Disney Magic or the Wonder. We have sailed on both 7-night Eastern and Western Carribean Itineraries and countless 3 and 4 night cruises on the Wonder. I noticed that you have children and DCL does an impeccable job with children's programs. The Oceaneer's Club provides activities/childcare for all age levels and exciting activities. We do not have children of our own but listen to couple's rave about how much fun their kids have. They even have a "graduation ceremony" for them at the end of the voyage. If you have older children, they have a "nightclub" for teens and a game room with supervised activities.

I encourage you both to look at the DCl website: www.disneycruiseline.com and explore. They offer so many choices for all ages and I think this is what truly attracts people to this cruiseline. The price is fairly competitive with other cruiselines, perhaps a bit more, but the service is impeccable. Everytime we return we have Cast Members who recognize us by sight and some by name. The dining room servers go out of their way to accomodate anything you may need, even if it is not on the menu. The stateroom hostess(host) keep your room very clean visiting twice a day, once for cleaning and once for turn down. They leave the CUTEST towel animals which are a hit with the children. We have taken so many pictures we feel like we have a towel animal zoo!!:rotfl2: The ships officers and crew are extremely friendly and very accessible. The best part is that you can tell the crew truly enjoys their jobs. The staff work such long hours but never complain and make it a truly unforgettable experience.

I know that DCL also has a video that you can order on their website which will give you a look inside. Also on the DisBoards there is a section for Disney Cruiseline and the members are so very helpful at answering about anything you can dream of. They have pictures, trip reports, packing lists, etc....

Please feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions I would love to help!!

Good luck planning!!

We did the Disney cruise as our honeymoon and enjoyed it. For 7 days and a balcony, it was almost 1,000.00 more than what we would have paid on Carnival. I say check out all of your options. Look at the 3 and 4 day cruises. You can check with the guys at Dreams Unlimited to see if they can give you a quote!
