I have flown into Sanford for the last 4 trips so flying into MCO has me asking a lot of questions.

I know I can check in online for Air Tran 24 hours early, pay my bag fees, and print boarding passes.

How do I do that at the resort without a printer? Thanks for any help.

If you are planning on using the RAC counter, they can do everything for you the morning you leave. Do not check in at the 24 hour mark though, because it will lock you out of the RAC system.

If you are not planning on using the RAC option, you can check-in at the 24 hour mark and the concierge desk at the resort can print out your passes.

Thank you. I do not think we will use the RAC counter just because we leave for the airport around 11 am.

I assume I go there to even check in online? I know I have to pay bag fees too.

Sorry if these seem lame, but I am clueless! I'm sort of confused and in panic mode...not sure why...I guess I always do this before a trip;)

I also assume I could check in with Air Tran once I get to MCO?

The RAC desk opens at 5:00 am and closes at 1:00 pm. They take bags no less than 3 hours before your flight leaves from MCO. Well worth it, in my opinion.

If you go to the RAC desk, they do the transaction for the baggage fees, and they will check-in for you, print your boarding passes, and take your bags.

If you do not want to use RAC, then you need to call BAGS, pay your baggage fees, then go to the concierge desk to have them print your boarding passes.

RAC desk does that all for you; it is like curbside check-in, only you are 30 miles away from the curb.

Since you are checking out at 11:00 am, that is fine because it is regular check-out time. If you want to go to the parks early and get a few things done, you can leave your bags with baggage services and then retrieve them when you are ready to leave for the airport. The ME bus driver will stow them under the bus for you. However, a tip of $1.00 per bag is appropriate. Then you just check-in at Airtran when you get to MCO.

Really, try out RAC - it is wonderful.

Thanks for your help! I don't think I could stand the mental anguish of checking my bags with them:laughing:I worry way too much about way too much.

We are also renting a car too.

It's hard to believe I once lived outside Detroit and was a big City Gal. Now, after living in the corn fields for 24 years, I'm clueless;)
