Please help w/ my 180 days!

Hi!

This is my first post! I'm so excited!

I wasn't sure where to put this, wanted just a plain "planning" forum but couldn't find one. Anyway.....

We are going to WDW (OMG!!) On January 23rd to January 30th, 2011 with two toddler boys, 4 & 5. That would put our 180 days on July 27th, I think. However, if the 2011 schedule doesn't come out until August, how am I going to be able to get my itinerary figured out regarding EMH and ADR?? I'm so worried that I'm going to have only a few days to get it all planned out, or even worse, not know anything when I call and just have to take blind ADR. Is this making sense to you all?

I'm so flipping excited I want to do it right now, as does everyone I'm sure, but I know that's not possible. I do however, have my room only reservation at the CR with a TPV. We're going to do the deluxe dining plan (forgot the abbreviation) as we plan on doing a lot of character meals, lots of table service meals and a few signature restaurants. When we go on vacation we go to eat so there's no way I'm eating hotdogs and pizza for the whole trip! It's all or nothing, lol.

I'm worried that they boys who are very adventerous eaters and going to suffer with the kids menus, but I'll ask about that in the dining forum later.

Anyway, so glad I'm here, can't wait to plan this all out with such a great board!!

The Disboard rocks!! You will find ALL your info here. You sound just like me! We always do Dddp....love to eat...love TS meals...no hotdogs for us on vacation I would go ahead and decide where you want to eat, and try and get the "hard to get" ressies on your 180 day mark. You are probably aware of this, but you can do your ADRs online. You will the CR....great resort.

Thanks for the quick replies! As long as I'm asking, where is a good spot to post sample itineraries? Sorry, can't spell that one, lol. I already have a first draft, yes, I am the biggest nerd around, but I would love feedback. TIA!!

Not really sure.....if you are posting your ADRs, then try the Dining thread...if it's just theme parks, etc...try Theme Park thread. There is a place for pre-trip reports, too. And no, you aren't the biggest nerd around...my DH says it's me

I have 2 adventurous boy diners too. We would suggest lots of the buffets so they can try lots of new things. Tuskerhouse, Boma,Cape May Cafe, Teppan Edo(Japan), Mama Melroses, California Grill, Narccossees, Ohana's for breakfast and dinner, 1900 Park Fare, Biergarten,Les Chefs de France, Restaurant Marrakesh,9 Dragons even if you have boys Akershus.We also love a couple of comfort foods too so we do trails end and Garden grill. We try not to do too many burgers, pizza and dogs either! If you have any questions let us know!

We figure out where we want to eat then as soon as the hours/extra magic hours are posted we start figuring where we will be and plug in the restaurants.Hope that helps!
