My fiancee and I are looking for suggestions for our dining plans. Our dates are as follows:

August 24th - August 30th

We are coming in MCO at about 2:30 on the 24th, so it's unlikely that I'll be booking anything that day. At most, just using the QSM and the snack for both of us. That would leave us with a sit down meal credit to use later on. On the departure date I plan to pick a 6:00 flight, meaning we'll leave POP at 3 or so. So I may even be able to shave off something from that day.

Here is what I have in mind so far. I want to eat at the Sci-Fi diner when at DHS. Is this considered sit-down? Also I would like to try a meal in Epcot at the world showcase. Family has suggested something in France or Germany (at the buffet restaurant) Sorry for the lack of official names, its been a long time.

So, basically, we would appreciate hearing your favorites, good planning tips, etc. We booked the trip today and the 90 day window started yesterday so we need to get moving! lol. Any help is much appreciated!

Yes you need to get going on your adrs. Epcot is full of great places to eat for T/S meals We like to come to Epcot for most of our meals. We like Artist point in the WL for a nice quiet meal with out kids.

I would suggest the following for sit downs:

MK:
Liberty Tree Tavern

EP:
Le Cellier
Coral Reef
Chef's de France
San Angel Inn

DHS:
50's Prime Time Cafe

AK:
............

DTD:
Raglan Road (I hear it is really good)
Planet Hollywood (Great Decor)

Hotels:
O'Hana's @ Poly
Grand Floridian Cafe @ THe Grand Floridian
The Wave @ The Contempoary (I also hear this is really good)

I have eaten at most of the one's above with the exception on The Wave and Raglan Road but both seem to get good reviews from people.

The dining plan is based on nights stayed and is good from your check-in day through midnight of your check-out day. If you opt to skip a TS on your first night (nothing wrong with that) then you can have a TS meal on your last day or go to a nicer 2 TS meal during your trip.

Here are some suggestions for table service restaurants:

Magic Kingdom - Crystal Palace breakfast or dinner. There are a few good TS restaurants at the monorail resorts. Ohana and Kona at the Polynesian and the Wave at the Contemporary.

Animal Kingdom - Yak and Yeti or do Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast or dinner

DHS - Sci Fi (yes it's a TS credit) burgers and shakes work there. 50s Prime Time Cafe is another option

Epcot - has a number of good table service restaurants. Biergarten is in the Germany pavilion. It's one of my favorites. Try to book when the band is playing. They play for short periods generally around these times 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm. Le Cellier in Canada has good steaks.

Since you're engaged a quieter, finer dinner may be something you're looking for with your extra TS credit. California Grill, Narcoossee's, Artist Point, Jiko, and Flying Fish are all good.

ADRs book up quickly so I recommend that you call as soon as possible to reserve what you want.
