We have decided to add on a night before our disney cruise at one of the deluxes! :jumping1: But, we are having a hard time agreeing on one! Can you help us choose??? Please! :rotfl:

pirate: Depending on your budget, I would either choose the Wilderness Lodge which we cancelled recently and changed to what I think you will also love is the Polynesian. Don't get me wrong we have stayed at all of the Deluxe Resorts and the reason we really love the Poly. is the fact that you can watch the fireworks from the beach and also see the Magic Kingdom at night which honestly is very nice. Also there are too many other things to post but in all honesty the Wilderness Lodge in my book would be a very close second, even in my opinion better than the GF. but this is just our opinions. Good luck in whatever you decide on. Chip@Janet.

In the spirit of your upcoming cruise - I would go to the Polynesian - esp. if you will be there early enough to use the pool while enjoying a tropical (virgin or otherwise :goodvibes ) drink with a view of the castle in front of you........

absolutely, positively stay at the CR Tower MK View...

so so beautiful
will totally get you in the mood for the whole trip
room and balcony huge....
personally, I don't like the pool
but the view alone stands alone from any other resort

Well if you stay AKL Cononcierge, you could do the Sunrise Safari Tour

Actually the 2 resorts we have thought about most are Poly and AKL! :cool1: But, we would be swayed toward AKL CL if we could do the Sunrise Safari! :rotfl2: I wasn't sure though if we could do it just staying one night and checking out the day of the Safari??? Has anyone else done this? :rotfl: Thanks for all the help! :cheer2:

The hotel is beautiful and we always schedule hotel days when staying there. I think it would be a perfect compliment (different) to a cruise. The safari would be the icing on the cake ! :cake:

One of the monorail resorts (deluxe) will be ideal for one night if you are planning on spending the majority of your time at the Magic Kingdom. Anyone of these three resorts is a good choice. My preference of these three would be CR-Tower, PR, GF

If Magic Kinddom is not the targeted park then the AKL would be ideal for kids with the decor, animals, pool, night vision goggles, and Early Morning Safari if you elect concierge (offered only on specific days of the week too) providing good entertainment. Note: Bus transportation is the only form of transportation available to get to and from any park and if you are staying only one night you might consider a resort where waiting time consume less of your day.

If it is an adult only trip I would suggest one of the Epcot deluxe resorts with great dining options around the resort and in Epcot.

We just split our trip between the Poly and the AKL. Although both are great we enjoyed the AKL a little more, the atmosphere was wonderful and there were a lot of activities.
