Please help us decide POFQ or CSR?

We've stayed at POFQ twice before(many years ago though), and have never stayed at CSR. We will be traveling with 2 children(ages 3 and 1). Which would you recommend and why??

Ive stayed at both. I found CDR to be very large, and very confusing. My kids were soo excited to go to the pool at CSR, only to be disappointed with it. Plus, we were as far away as humanly possible to the bridge that took you to the pool area. It was such a hike the kids never wanted to go back after the first time. I swear we were constantly getting lost getting back to our rooms. Our building was BEHIND another building that you had to go thru to get to ours. It was hard to get to. We were very far from the bus stop too. I also did NOT like the set up of the food court. You had to buy tickets for what you wanted. You were seated, instead of just sitting where ever like the other food courts, and we werent able to fill our own mugs. They had wait staff do that for you. WHich of course, you then had to tip. We didnt care for the food there either. The place IS very pretty though. POFQ on the other hand, is my favorite moderate. I like how its smaller. I wish POFQ had the trundles like PORS!! We are a family of 5 and are limited to where we can stay in one room. Id stay at POFQ all the time if it would accomodate us! The pool slide is cute, there is only one bus stop, it seems so much quieter. Normal food court.. I really loved POFQ.

We've stayed at both too! My wife and I (we're childless) prefer POFQ to any walt disney resort we've stayed in. It is small and you can take a boat to Downtown Disney. That being said, when we went with our whole family (including kids) we stayed at the CSR which probably was better with lots of people. I slid down the the slide like a hundred times (yeah 25 y/o kid here) and there is good sized playground for children. Our family played a game of volley ball on the sand court too. The biggest thing about CSR is making sure you get a good room location close to eating, dig site and busses. You will not go wrong with either one though.

Good luck
Steven

I'd vote against FQ hands down. Although I never stayed at CSR, it almost certainly couldn't be as bad as FQ was.

I always hear people saying good stuff about CSR, although I guess the same can be said of FQ....unfortunately I am not one of them- it doesn't get my vote.

Although CSR is beautiful, I'm not into the Southwest/Mexico theme. I prefer POFQ.

CSR is my fave! I love the theming, the music, the smell, the room decor, everyhting! The bus service has always been great and I love the cabana section :)

We didn't really like CSR. I too thought it was way too big and spread out. It is very pretty and all but the food court just wasn't for us. I didn't like the whole tipping thing and we would have to wait a long time at the food stations. Some things were okay but others not. Although....we did have a good Thanksgiving meal at the last minute there. SO that was yummy. The kids liked the pool but it was a HIKE and we were there in Nov. so it was COLD walking back. IT wasn't a horrible stay but we would opt for another moderate.
