Here is my problem. October 30th we arrive at MCO around 8:30PM. We have POP under an AP rate and will not be getting our AP's until we arrive. Will they let us check in and go get our AP's at DTD then bring them back and show them or do we have to show them the moment we arrive? And if we do how would you go about getting them before arriving at POP. DH suggests we get dropped of by towncar at POP the have them hold our luggage while we go to DTD and then come back and check-in or have the towncar drop us off at DTD and haul our luggage on a bus back to POP. I thought maybe the towncar service could take us to DTD first instead of the grocery stop and then we go to POP. Which idea do you think will work better. Please Help!

I had this situation in August, except that I rented a car at the airport. Went to DTD and got the AP's, then checked into POP.

You could call POP and see if they would hold you luggage while you ran over and got the AP passes by bus. I bet they would.

How late in the evening did you arrive? Was guest relations in DTD open late?
Thaks for your help.:Pinkbounc What would I do without the DISboards?

I was there in August with an AP rate and they never asked to see them. I had the vouchers with me just in case, though.

A couple suggestions:

1st - You could have them mail you the AP's. We had them do this in July with no problems. The date of the AP's does not start when you purchase them, but rather when you activate them.

2nd - We booked WL with the AP rate and were never asked to show an AP at check-in. (However, we did purchase it thorugh WDWTC so it might have been noted on our ressies). We were told by others that they were asked to bring their AP back the next day after check-in to show it was activated to get the AP rate.

I really wouldn't stress on this at all. We never had a problem and I really doubt you will either. At the most they will ask you to show the activated AP before checking out.

If you have the vouchers they may look at those, let you check in. Sometimes they have you stop back to see the activated passes. I would just go to check in and see what happens before you start running off to places.

Also I see on Deb Will's site that both the Disney stores inside MCO, as well as the Character Premiere outlet store in the Premiere Outlets across I-4 from Downtown Disney, all sell activated annual passes, not the voucher. If you could stop at one of these on your way out the door of the airport or have the towncar stop at the outlets on your way, you'd have the pass in hand at check-in. The Downtown Disney thing sounds like a big hassle, unless the aforementioned stores are closed and you must have the pass that night. Or, if the towncar would agree to stop near Pleasure Island at the Planet Hollywood entrance for about 5 minutes, that guest services window is right there by the movie theatres, and you could be in and out of there in minutes.

Thank you Thank you Thank you. All the help you guys have given has been amazing. I think that if the Disney Store in MCO is open I will just get it there. I forgot that you could even do that. Thanks again for everbodies help.:earsgirl:
