Please help - The Plaza or LTT for MVMCP?

Please help me pick one. I can get LTT for 5:45pm or The Plaza at 4:25pm. I have never been to LTT for dinner. Which one has better food? It will just be 2 adults. We have been to LTT several time for lunch and always have to wait so I am a little worried about the 5:45 time and being out in an hour to enjoy the party. My other thought was that we will be at DTD that day so we could do a late lunch at Wolfgang Pucks. What should I do? Thanks everyone !!!!!!

I have done The Plaza two years in a row before MNSSHP and it worked out perfect. The food was excellent both times and the service was great.

Thanks Everyone !!!!! I was leaning towards the Plaza and it seems like it gets good reviews. I also like the idea of getting an ice cream sunday for dessert

I've eaten at both....much prefer The Plaza. I liked LTT but usually went just for the atmosphere and characters. Now that they no longer have characters, I will go with a restaurant with better food. The Plaza is much smaller and quieter. I took my family there last month...they had never been before. I had been there a year ago and really enjoyed it. The family said they loved it. The food choices are really pretty good. I had the best veggie sandwich...yum. The burgers were very good according to my two dd's. And the french fries are really very good..not sure why they are so much better than anywhere else on property, but that was the general concensus.

I would suggest Liberty Tree Tavern. Especially before MVMCP, it has more of that colonial feel. I've eaten at both. If you like sandwiches or a burger go to the Plaza. If you want more of a sit down thanksgiving style dinner go to LTT. Just depends on what type of food you want. hearty or light?

I would go for The Plaza because the time is better and I like the menu better. We did LTT before MVMCP last year and I really regretted it. The food wasn't good and it took forever to get in and out so we ended up missing more of the party than I wanted to. Have fun!

We love the Plaza--it is our last meal before we head to the airport or beach on every trip (including this year). Here is my review, with pics, from last year:

We love the Plaza! The food is excellent and the fries are to die for.

WOW - Looks like a lot of people love the Plaza. I think that we should go for that one. I really worry about getting seated late at LTT and not getting out in time. Plus it seems like from what I read that people like the food better at the Plaza. Thank you everyone for your help !!!!! The Plaza it is.

I would not do an in park TS on the night of MVMCP, especially so late/close to the start of the party. You spend extra money on the MVMCP so you can enjoy the party-only offerings, and eating a long TS meal that might eat into that time is just not my idea of a good use of time.

That said, we prefer LTT overall. Plaza is small, so if there is a wait you might be stuck sitting outside for a while before you even get inside to order. I see the Plaza as more of a lunch place because of the limited, sandwich oriented menu. (The Plaza was also the most disappointing TS place we ate at in our trip earlier this month. We've had much better times at LTT.)

We've eaten at both places. We used to always eat @ LTT for dinner until they took the characters away. The food is fairly good, but it's not worth the cost without characters. We just ate at The Plaza for dinner before MNSSHP on 9/11. It was our 1st time eating at The Plaza and we really enjoyed it. I had the chicken sandwich & mint chocolate chip milkshake for dessert - very good!! The service was excellent & I liked the small, quaint feel of the restaurant. We will definitely eat at The Plaza again.
