Want to stay at POR-Oct.30-Nov.5. That's 1 day reg.season. My mom can book 0ct.31-Nov.5 to get all value season. To make room-only ressies I wanted to use Mom's AAA discount on hers and my room. I believe that will work even with different check-in dates?? What happens if a room-only code comes out? Can we have different check-in dates? How many rooms per code? We want Ultimate Hopper but mom doesn't, will that work? I won't add on our tickets until codes come out.
Also other family members coming with 3 more rooms. We would all like to be next to each other if possible. When do we request this? They will have their own ressies. Thanks so much!

Hello Welcome to the DIS.

You should make 2 separate reservations for your hotel room. Make the 1st night in your name only and pay regular rate. Have your mom make the reservation for Oct. 31-Nov.5 with 2 rooms. She can then apply the AAA discount to both rooms. If you check in on the last night of regular season you are stuck with regular rates for your whole stay, but the opposite is also true if you check in on the last night of value you season you get value rates for your entire stay. It would probrably work out the best for you to split up your reservations. When you check in on Oct. 30 you can let the CM know that you will be continuing your stay there but under a different reservation once the rest of your party arrives. I think they would try to keep you in the same room.

You can apply a room omly code if they come out, but they are on a limited number, first come, first serve basis.

Ultime Hoppers must be purchased by everyone in your party. I am assuming that if you book a room with your mom to get her AAA discount they would expect her to buy one also, but I am not positive.

I would call the resort and ask about getting everyone close together before you leave.
