I downloaded and developed 125 pics. from my trip this past week only to get them back and they're all pixel-y!!!!!!! I'm not a photographer in any sense of the word (although, I did take some great pics this week!!) so I'm not sure if this can be fixed. I think that the issue is that the camera was set to VGA (not sure what that means...) instead of 6MP (which is what it is). I've tried resizing the pics. on the camera, but it tells me that the function is not available. (Oh, it's a Polaroid i639 P&S) I should've stuck with my Kodak Easy Share - it didn't have as many buttons or options, but nooooo, I just had to have a higher MP camera for Disney.... :sad1: :sad1:

Can this be fixed? I have Corel Snapfire Plus and ArcSoft Photostudio 5.5 on my (also new, so I don't know how to use it...) computer. Please help if you can!

I think you are stuck.

VGA is another term for 0.3 megapixel. It is 640 x 480 contrasted with about 2800 x 2100 for 6MP. You had the camera set to maximize the number of shots y ou could put on the memory card at the expense of resolution.

VGA is perfect for pictures to put on the web since most computer users would have to pan a picture that has significantly more resolution in order to see all the corners and also larger pictures take more space on the web host and take longer to appear on the web page.

That's what I was afraid of! So much for upgrading my camera for the trip! :sad1:

boy that must have stunk..has something similar our last trip as my film camera went nuts midway through our trip and wouldn't focus so that was pretty disappointing...hope to get back with my dslr soon so i can have at least a few disney pics

I almost want to say a lot of new P&S camera are set on that lowest setting... My mom's was and I had to change it as was a family friends. Boy was the family friend surprised at the difference in her photos once it was changed LOL.
