Please help rank firework options

Hi

We are a group of 9 ages 4 to 54.
4/9 of us never having been to WDW.
3/9 have restricted diets (sugar and yeast)

Want to do a special fireworks experience.

What would you suggest?

Are you talking about a dessert party?
If so I wouldn't recommend paying all that money when 1/3 of your party cannot enjoy most of the offerings.

As far as which fireworks to make priority I'd go with Illuminations. It is my favorite but its also ending at the end of summer so if you don't go see it you won't get another chance.

I agree with Illuminations... Much easier to get a prime spot as HEA and its projections have created huge crowds in the hub and on Main Street making it less enjoyable in my opinion.

You would have to look at the menus but the offerings with no sugar added etc are limited.
They are dessert parties it's not exactly advertised as being healthy.

I was unsure you were asking about the parties. Yes it is but I do not find value in the parties with the exception of NYE.

My reply was for a group of nine not attending a party. We have only done the HEA party on the Plaza and would not spend the money to do it again.

If you want to do one of the Firework Dessert Parties - I would recommend the one at MK on the Tomorrowland Terrace. This will make keeping your party of nine together easier and in a non-crowded environment.

HOWEVER - your three folks with food restrictions will find limited options for them. There will be ways to avoid yeast pretty easily, but sugar? It's primarily a dessert party! There are some savory choices and I think they usually have a sweet or two made with artificial sweeteners instead of sugar, but their food choices will be more restricted.

In addition, the viewing is off-center. BUT - it you are looking for a way to escape the crowds and have a special experience - I think it will work for you. It is expensive.

I personally don't think any of the other special firework parties are worth it.

In general - if you are willing to sacrifice the TIME - you can stake out your spot for fireworks early - and have a runner planned to go get food - and if everyone is okay with waiting/sitting on the ground - you can still have a great time at fireworks without anything special planned. All of them will be crowded, with HEA the worst of those, but with the right attitude and patience, you don't need any of the add-ons to have a great firework experience.

My family prefers Happily Ever After and the Star Works Fireworks. Illuminations is our least favorite, although if you don’t want to pay for something, it is the easiest to find a spot to watch them.

It depends on your interests and how restrictive your diets are if the dessert parties are worth it to you. My family did the Star Wars dessert party last time and thought it was fun due to the theming and meet and greets it included. If you’re not Star Wars fans, than the HEA dessert party may be a better fit.
