I hoping that someone knows the answer to these questions.
We have 2 reservations at the end of August, beginning September. First have a room only for three night at value resort ( two adults and one child). Second package with dinning at moderate resort for nine nights tickets include:confused park hopper and water parks( both paid for without codes or pin). I'm wondering if one adult in party gets annual pass when annual passes discounts come out would we be able to get free dining if/when they give free dining in August as well as room discount or will all have to get annual passes? Also, when would be the best time to get the Annual pass? Before first reservation or package deal? Called Disney not much help explaining answer.:confused3

If you're going into the parks for the first portion you should get your AP then. In past free dining offers, a ticket purchase was required (1 day per person minimum) even with an AP. That ticket is good until used so you can use it in the future (and upgrade it if you like) All in the room for dining have to have the same ticket.

Agree w/pp. If you go the AP route for room discounts (which may or may not happen for you) only one adult in the party will need an AP.

If the AP discounts do come out in the fall are you able to get a AP room discount and free dinning if it does become available? I guess I'm not totally sure how that works?

We will have 2 adults and one child under 2 so she doesn't count. Planning on 10 nights in Nov or Dec.

Thank you in advance! for yuor help and thoughts!! :surfweb:

One discount. If free dining comes out you pay rack rate and all offers in the past required a minimum 1 day pass purchase per person as well. (the past 2 offers from WDW used to require only a 1 day pass purchase but required basically length of offer ticket purchase - no good for ap holders) The Values are best for free dining, the moderates- you have to figure it out, deluxe is usually best with a room discount.

Thank you! We will see what happens. We are looking to stay at the WL so sould like a AP room discount would work better (if one does come out) Thanks a ton!:thumbsup2
