I'm having trouble deciding... we are travelling with 4 kids (2 boys 4 and 2 girls 2 and 2 1/2). The girls of course love princesses...

Anyway, my SIL would like to do the PSB because it is cheaper and the princesses are guaranteed... I'm all for that as I think the kids would love the character interaction, but I have read noting but bad reviews about the food (and even the interaction) at PSB.

OTOH, there are so many changes at CRT for dinner that we really don't know what we'll be getting! They told us on our ressie that Cinderella is not currently scheduled...? So I don't know who they will have for our photo package... They will have the fairy godmother and some of the mice and who knows who else, but probably no princesses... likewise, will this be worth 2 TS credits? But I still have that dream of having dinner at the castle... (and it will be an evening magic hour at MK that night too)

This is the first trip for many in our party, and our ressies are both for the same evening, so we have to choose. WWYD? :confused3 TIA!!!

Well, if you want princesses, do PSD. There will most likely not be any princesses except maybe Cindy in the lobby at CRT for dinner. I know what you mean about the food though. Any way you could change and do PSD for breakfast and the castle for dinner?

The girls are young however and probably wouldn't miss the princess meal too much since they really don't fully understand all this yet. There are plenty of opportunities in the parks to meet the princesses. MK has the princess room in Toon Town, Epcot has Aurora and Belle in France, Mulan in China, Jasmine in Morocco and Snow in Germany throughout the day.

It is so hard to decide, I have eaten at both. We actually love the food at the PSB. The food is very good for dinner at CRT-(it was our favorite meal) which they now offer a character lunch. Which an exspensive option would be breakfast at PSB and a lunch at CRT. You could scheduled the last lunch and be there for the Princesses. My daughter this last Christmas was so excited seeing the Princesses she posed for pictures and briefly spoke to them out of shyness and the princess would move on. With as many children the Princesses will greet each of them and are glad to pose for individual and group photos. By time they get autographs it will a good amount of time at your table.

Epcot is a great place to see the Princesses. Just ask a CM for times and places- Do not count on info you find on the internet as far to times and places- i made a list for our last trip and ended up tossing it out. The information was wrong. We winged it. In the parks my girls saw the mice and Pocohantus (sp) at Ak- Belle in blue and Mary poppins at Epcot (usually Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty are in their countries ) Belle in Christmas dress and Snow White at MK

We did PSB for dinner our last trip. It was great as far as character interaction. Our girls loved it. My DW did not care for her entree (she had the pasta) but there were cold cuts and salad on the buffet. I had the stew and I thought it was pretty good. Overall, we enjoyed it. I am wondering how CRT will be now with the changes.

We are actually doing both in April. I could not decide and since it is the only time we will be doing a family trip this year we are going all out.

We did both on our trip Jan. 14-21. We did the PSL at Akershus and really enjoyed the food, but we do like to try new things while in Epcot. The princess interaction was great and it was a wonderful way to start our trip. We were scheduled to see the Spirit of Aloha at the Poly which was cancelled, so on a whim I tried to get into CRT and believe it or not, we did! When we were there Cinderella was in the lobby and there were no characters at the dinner, I am not sure how it has changed, but I know it has. My kids were so excited to be in the castle, they loved dinner and they spent a good amount of time with Cinderella. I have to say this was the best meal of the trip for us. DH and I had filets and they were wonderful! Kids had prime rib and loved it, too. We were on the DP and this was the only place we left an extra tip because of server went above and beyond. I hope I have given you some insight, good luck with your decision!
