I was starting to settle on POFQ but the spring discounts came out today and it wasn't on the list. Below are the options I am considering. What would you choose.

Trip info - will be just me and DD (8) 5/25-5/30, we will get 5 day park hoppers+water. We typically stay at at the WL. We like being near the MK and tend to hop there most days.

Options showing availability
POR Royal Room - $2048
WL Bunk Bed Courtyard - $2859
CR Garden Wing - $3028
YC Garden View - $2806

Which would you choose. I realize this is all based on personal preference so I am looking for your opinion. I am leaning towards POR since it is the cheapest. The thought of CR and being able to walk to the MK seems really nice though! The YC is on the list since it seems like a great price but part of me wants to save an Epcot resort and that pool for when my DH can come.

With an 8 y/o dd? A royal room!!! My 21 y/o dd, and her best friend, were beyond thrilled with our royal room at POR in May!!!! And it's the least expensive. Being able to walk to MK is a big plus but not for an addtl $1000!!! YC is nice but not nearly as much fun for your dd.

The savings is quite substantial -- with 5 day park hoppers, that's equivalent to $200 per park day. That buys a lot of food/souvies/whatev.

I would usually choose the CR. Like you, we prefer to be near the MK. However, that is a huge price difference and you were planning to stay in POFQ anyway. I think that I just might choose POR RR this time.

I stayed in the royal rooms a couple years ago and loved them! I bet your DD would too! The grounds of POR are gorgeous and from what I understand the royal rooms are all positioned closeish to the main building so even though its a spread out resort it won't feel that way for you. I really enjoyed the food court selections and my dad really loved the pool.

POR Royal Room! We stayed in one this past October and loved it! It would make a great memory for your mother/daughter trip!

POR is a great choice and a Royal Room makes it even better! I love the convenience of the CR but for that price difference I would stick with POR.

POR is our fav moderate. We had a RR in Oak Manor last time. Great location, and our room was close to the foot bridge.

It's a beautiful resort, the landscaping is so pretty. And POR has some extras to offer, the boat to DTD, Carriage rides, and fun evening entertainment in the lounge. Bob Jackson puts on a great show, get there early! Also has a good food court. For dinner love the Pasta Bar!

For 2 it's very comfortable! I go with my adult daughter. I've also gone with both daughters and had plenty of room.

We went with a POR Royal Room. My daughter is super excited. I can't see anything about the others that is worth the hefty price difference.

Hard to pass up a lovely resort with a great price, so I'd lean to POR. I just want to be one voice chiming in for YC, though. The location at Crescent Lake and ability to stroll quickly to Epcot is very, very valuable. You can also walk to HS, of course. And throw in Stormalong Bay.... but if you say you want to save that, go with POR.
