Okay here is the dillema. Dad just got home from Iraq last night. WAnts to plan a Disney trip for our bio child age 8 and our three newly adopted children ages 10, 11 and 7. Can't go in December too early to ask off from work. Is there another time to go that is reasonably slow? Also anyone know about the age 9 and under stay free deal, is it with any VISA or just Disney VISA? Thanks!

Jan. or early Feb. is not too bad for avoiding huge crowds:( Sorry I can't answer your other question.::yes:: :wave2:

January is usually pretty good, February picks up around Presidents Day thru the end of spring breaks. Early February isn't too bad though.

The kids deal is for any visa, but has several restrictions - only one child per paying adults gets in free - so only two of your kids would be free, there is a max of 1 room with 2 adults and 2 children and no other discounts can be applied to tickets/room rates. If you do happen to use the Disney Visa you get an additional $100 disney dollars at check in though.

I think you'd be much better off just using the military discounts that are available. Stars and stripes passes and SOG overflow rooms.

Good luck and glad your hubby is home safe!

Just remember to avoid Presidents Day weekend in February- that will be crowded because school's out. Early January is a great time to go- but either month will be relatively slow.

January and February sometimes gets a bit cold but still I would think this is one of the best times to go. My new most favorite time of year to go is May! YUP, MAY! We went in the middle of May 2002 and it was GREAT! Crowds were minimal, weather was perfect, just all around a great time to go. October is my second favorite but it's getting far to crowded for my liking.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank your hubby and you for all you guys have done. Much appreciated, enjoy your well deserved trip to Disney. :)

Im with Dan!!

My BIL just got back from Iraq. You guys have a great time at WDW. Many thanks to all our military folks.
