I did a search on the boards but did not find a good answer on timing your dinner at Ohanas for Wishes. What is the best time in June for instance? I am thinking June 11 or June 13? Also if the MK is not EMH night, is it cutting it too close to take the monorail back to MK and then back to POR?

Look at the time for Wishes on those nights. If Wishes is at 9:00, make an AR for 7:30. Get there thirty minutes before (7:00) and tell them you will wait for a window table. If you happen to get a window table closer to 7:00, you'll have to stretch dinner a little to see them at 9:00, but chances are you will have to wait at least 20 minutes for a window seat to clear. If you have to wait longer, that's ok, you can browse in the gift shops.

Or, you can make a reservation for 7:00, sit anywhere and then walk down to the beach. If you sit close to the pool, I believe you can still hear the music as well. We've seen them from 'Ohana and the beach and really, they are both good.

Yes, you should have time to hop a monrail to MK and catch a bus.

Can you go down to the beach even if you are not a guest at the resort?

I can't say this with any authority, but I have read in other posts where people have said anyone can watch from the beach. That would make sense since O'Hanas is open to people who are not guests of the resort. Last year we watched from the beach FW after HDDR (we weren't FW guests) and the view was great.

Yeap, we've been non-poly stayers and have watched Wishes from the beach.

As far as Ohanas and Wishes- if your seated at 7:00, you'll have to try real hard to stretch your dinner that long! We were seated at 7:45 (wishes was at 9:15) and were eating SLOWLY, told the waitors to bring food slowly and when the fireworks came on, we were pretty much all done.

Hope it works out for you! It's awesome watching the fireworks from inside Ohanas- especially with a window seat!

We have watched them from the beach without being resort guests several times. There haven't been large crowds before when we did this and it was a nice place to see them. Getting out afterwards was also easy and we didn't have to fight the crowds.
