My family can't be of help because, well...see my sig. :lmao:

So...what can I pack for them?? They won't know we're going to Disney until we arrive at the airport!

Looking for clothing suggestions, as we've only gone in July before...

30 people have looked at this post and no one knows what to pack for Thanksgiving? :confused3

Should I bring shorts or pants? Long sleeves or t-shirts? Jackets?

Anyone?

I'm going Thanksgiving week and am prepared to take a little of everything. Figure I won't know for sure until a week ahead of time when the forecast comes out.

I have heard from others (and I have been to Disney twice from Dec 26-31 in the past) that at Thanksgiving time, shorts and capris are OK...but the mornings and evenings can get chilly, so a sweatshirt/jacket is a MUST. Also heard others have had mittens for fireworks because it can get so chilly.

I have 2 girls, ages 6 and 3. Was going to have my own small stroller and carry a backpack. I will take an extra set of clothing for each kid and a pair of knit pants for each. Figure I can put the pants on them at night if they get cold.

I have done WDW 6 times...3 in July, 1 in Aug and 2 in Dec. Florida weather is SO hard to predict year to year. Went in Dec once and it was HOT...next time we were lucky to see 60 degrees.

My advice is to keep an open mind, start making lists of everything....including all types of clothing you could possibly take. Once the forecast comes out, simply pack what is appropriate. :goodvibes

I am so stinking excited for us to go as well!!!:yay:

Awesome - so take a lil bit of everything. Thanks for your advice!

I can't wait!!!

Just curious...where are you staying and what days are you going?? We arrive LATE on the 21st and fly back home on the 28th. We are staying at the All Star Sports...my 1st time there. And does your hubby know about the trip??? If not, how on EARTH did you pull that off??????!!!!:lmao:

I have been to WDW twice for Thanksgiving and I recommend packing sweatshirts, jeans and a jacket. It gets cold at night and I was thankful no pun intended- that I had a jacket. As a bonus I had found a pair of gloves left over from the prior season in the pocket which I used!
It was too cold for the pools

My hubby knows NOTHING! :lmao: Neither do my kids! We're staying at the Poly from Nov. 25th-28th.

As to how I pulled it off...very carefully. :thumbsup2 See, my DH never worries about the bank account, so he doesn't know what comes out when. I can't wait til they find out where we're spending Thanksgiving!!! :rotfl:

Thanks! I figured it would be too cold for the pools. I'll definitely pack pants, jackets and gloves, but also shorts....just in case! ;)
