Please help - new DVC owner - reservation question!

Hi all,
We just heard that everything has been closed and we are simply waiting for Disney to put us in their system. We want to go early Aug. (around the 7th)and require a 2 bedroom suite. Our choices are Boardwalk villas, Beach Club and OKW. Can someone tell me if we are asking for a miracle or do you think we would be able to get a reservation? Are things really crazy? We should hear from Disney in about 7 days but the waiting is driving me crazy. We really want that 2 bedroom suite.

You are not crazy.

Beach Club & Boardwalk might be a little tough to book on short notice. But I think you will definately get a room at Old Key West.

One suggestion. Try calling Member Services everyday. They frequently have you in their system faster then you might expect. Have fun!

Call first thing Monday morning to Member Services. They are quite accommodating (no pun intended).

Are you looking for a studio? Also, try SSR if others are booked.

I agree with Doug Wolfe and Laurajean1014. Don't wait for DVC to call you. Call them and find out what's happening. They are very helpful and won't mind you calling at all.
