I stayed at WDW last time I was there so I'm no help on where to stay.

I would definately see the Believe & Blue Horizons shows. I've also heard Wild Arctic is great but, we missed out on this last time.

It's tough to see it in just one day but, I'd recommend 3 shows: Believe (Shamu), Blue Horizons (whales and dolphins), and Clyde and Seamore (seals, sea lions, sea otter, and a very funny mime).
As for other things: Sting Rays, Dolphin Cove, Pacific Point Preserve (seals & sea lions), Shark Encounter, Wild Arctic, Dolphin Nursery, and perhaps most appreciated by adults, Brewmasters Club (free beer tasting).

Hotels, as has been said there are tons of hotels and motels right on or nearby to International Drive. They run the gammit from La Quinta and Holiday Inn types to the Renaissance across the street from SW, Crowne Plaza, and the Ritz-Carlton. The Peaboy on I-Drive is very, very nice but $$.

well of cousre, you must see Believe (shamu), then the kids would like Shamu's Happy Habour (a big playground), there's also a little kiddie coaster, in that area too (cant rember the name), Fusion a boat show that never has full audince but the kids would enjoy it as at the beginning all the kids get to go up and play different games. Horizons the dolphin show, feeding the dolphins is a must, Clyde and Seamore - very funny a must see, Wild Artic a simulator like Star Tours, which after you get to walk through the exhibits and see the begula whales, walruses and polar bears.

the night show of Clyde and Seamore is even more funnier that the day time one, is takes the mick out of all the seaworld shows very funny

there's an arcarde area the kids would probably like aswell

but definaly see: Believe, Clyde and Seamore and Horizons

dont forget to feed the dolphins

Nothing really. They moved the bridge to accommodate the fireworks and they have concerts (Bud & BBQ and Viva La Musica) and the kids' Sesame Street shows among other things. One weekend while I was there, they had a cheerleader competition in the Bayside Stadium.

I would go to Believe and Blue Horizons as far as the shows go. It would really take away from your exhibit time to go to three shows.

Feed the dolphins first, feed the stingrays. The kids loved the shark tunnel, the wild arctic exhibit was great ~ the walruses were wonderful creatures:goodvibes

We do a lot in one day without a problem, BUT you have to plan out your shows to get it all in - so I would get there early so you can see what show times make sense and if it's busy you do need to get to the shows early. We do Clyde & Seamore, shamu, pets ahoy, and dolphin (which I skipped the last time because it is not more cirque de soleil than an animal show to me). They changed the dolphin feeding so you need to do that early now too - can't get near it without buying fish first. If you are doing rides they may have long waits as well - we skip those. Wild Arctic is cool if you like Polar Bears, Walrus and Baluga whales - but you need to time that so that you don't hit it after Shamu lets out - they limit how many go in at a time.

Planning is key - print the map online - look at the showtimes online (although I've found they change them all the time and even day of) and have a general plan.

is the bridge still their to walk across the lake?

There is a Hilton Grand Vacation Club at SeaWorld. I stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on I Drive which I think is a little bit newer, but the one at Sea World looked very nice as well. Are you talking about having a place to stay the one night while you are at SeaWorld or as a spot for your entire vacation. There really isn't much else around the SeaWorld Hilton besides SeaWorld, so it would be good for the night. May not want it for the entire vacation though.

I would stay at Horizons but it would cost about 450-500$ for one night. But it has Putt putt golf, bar, park, very nice rooms 2 pools,1 with a pirate ship you can play on, and the other twisty slide for older kids.It also has 3 hot tubs and is like less than a mile from seaworld.
