please help... need to know where to complain..

okay...

i LOVE disney, my new husband and i are passholders. since, we live in miami, fl, we go there all the time. as a matter of fact, in the past 8 months, we have been there about 5 times (for a week each time). we ALWAYS stay at a disney resort.

well, we just got married, my in-laws paid for a 1 week trip for us to go to NYC, and then we decided to go to Disney for another week right after. we have never had any problems, but for this time, for our last night of our honeymoon, we left carribean beach to go to check out the Port Orleans French Quarter's newly refurbished and redesigned rooms.

when we left Carribean beach, we transferred our luggage using their bell services. when we went to check in to our room at 6pm, our room was not ready. When 8pm came around and our room was still not ready, they finally decided to give us someone else's room that had not checked in yet because ours was still marked "dirty". by this point, i was very upset, why didn't they just do that before?? we get in our room and call bell services to get our luggage from them, they didn't have it. They lost our luggage! they said that they were going to call around different resorts to see if it got delivered to a different resort by accident. they didn't find it until 10pm. can you believe that? we had no clothing to shower and change into until then. we wanted to go out to eat, but not in our sweaty clothing from the day. it was our last day of our honeymoon, and we spent it waiting around. :( :(

i complained to one manager and they said, "sorry, this is not typical of our service, but there is nothing that i can do." and then he walked away. i complained to his boss and he offered to credit us $60 to our room to use if we wanted to go out to eat somewhere where we could use our room card. but $60?? we actually went out to eat that night. the only place we could go that we could use our card that wasn't completely full or have a 1 hour wait at that time was Portabello Italian restaurant in downtown disney. we spent the whole $60 there!

i am just wondering who can i send my letter of complaint to? does anyone know?

any help would be greatly appreciated...

Go to the official WDW website and send an e-mail to Guest Services. They will probably respond with a canned e-mail at first, but then, if you leave your phone number, they will call you back personally in a while. Don't let this one go. They need to hear about it. Good luck.:D
 
So, you had to wait extra time for a room, they gave you $60, you had dinner. Do you feel you deserve more compensation/restitution than they have already gvien you, or do you just want to let someone "higher up" know that you had this problem?

You frequent Disney. Is this your first less-than-perfect experience, or have you had many bad experiences?
