Please Help...Need to get from AK to Poly

I have a rather stupid question that I am hoping someone can help me with. We are staying at the POP and are planning to spend the day at Animal Kingdom. We then have reservations for the Spirit of Aloha Luau , which I believe is at the Poly? We are using Disney transportation. How do we go about doing this? Is there a way to go directly from AK to the Luau? Or do we need to go to the Transportaion center first? We have never done anything like this and are kind of confused at how to go about doing this, obviously we would like to spend as much time at AK as possible but also need some idea of how long to allow to get to the Luau. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!
