Please help! Need info on quick Studios Trip

We're thinking of taking a quick trip to Universal May 9-12. We've never stayed onsite. What is the best hotel deal I can get at either HRH or Portifino? Do they have entertainment rates during that time? My husband is also a firefighter, do they still offer pass discounts to firefighters and their familie? Any information would be much appreciated!

They are still offering the Emergency personnel tickets. I don't know when they are going to stop it though. I know that his ticket would be free and I think you can get 3??? others for 50% off.

As for the hotels there might be some rooms available for the entertainment rate. Normally the Hard Rock is the cheaper of the two hotels. You can call Universal at 1-800-uescape or call Loews at 1-800-loews11.
