She will be sharing a house with four other girls. She gets her own bedroom. What would be good to put in a gift basket for her?

a mug with your company name on it and gift cards to places near her...grocery stores, book stores, target, etc. all all good choices.

I remember leaving my part time job that I had before I left for college and everyone took up a collection unbeknowndst to me. they took me out to lunch and handed me an envelope. Most people would get a gift but they figured with college I could use the money and I could! I was so grateful.

Seriously, my youngest brother is in college this year and for his birthday, I am giving him money, because he needs it. Not only for classes and books and such, but gas money.

Maybe if you don't want to give her straight out cash, get her a gas card or maybe a gift card to her colege bookstore or something. Or even a gift card to the local supermarket close to her house. Kids gotta eat!

My daughter just moved into her college apartment with three other girls. I stocked their pantry with all the staples. I was surprised how much that cost! While providing an entire pantry is probably out of the question, maybe a gift basket with spices or baking goods, etc. might be nice. The reason my daughter moved out of the dorm was to get away from Ramen noodles and to eat food she liked.

How about taking her out to lunch and presenting her with an Amazon gift certificate. They have almost everthing on Amazon from school books to stuff for her house.
