What is mifi and can someone explain it to me? I'm looking to get an Ipad as my christmas/birthday present and will be getting a wifi one.

I tried to find the price on the clamcase, but I just keep getting the message that it is sold out. Any idea what the pricetag is on this item? It looks like the combo of the ipad and the clamcase may be a great intro to Apple products for us. (well....aside from ipods, which we all have)

It's $119.

The iPad 2 will have 2 cameras. One on the front for Face Time, and one on the back for regular use. It will also have a different display. It's going to be released in April, with strong suggestion to the 2nd or 9th of the month as release dates.

I like my iPad (wifi), but it won't load Javascript, so there might be some things you won't be able to use it with and typing is a one finger job. I'd probably go with a a Netbook for classwork instead.

I think it's pretty certain a new iPad will be released within 3-4 months, following Apple's historical pattern of upgrading their devices and the many reliable rumors. The next release is bound to have improved features that would make it worth it to wait a short time to purchase rather than getting the original version now.

That was rumored, but it honestly doesn't make sense from a business stand point to release a next gen item that soon after releasing the first one.
