Please Help Me with T-Shirts!

Last time I was at Disney I saw a family who had some personalized cool t-shirts. I was told that someone created a design for them and I think they then ironed it themselves but I'm not sure. Could someone please help me with how I do this? Thanks.

Thanks for the direction! So I'm starting to find designs and trying to learn how I would request something. How does a t-shirt work? Do I request a design? What do I do when the design is complete? I have no problem doing an iron-on or getting it myself, but I just don't even have any idea how that works. I'm a total beginner on this one. Thanks.

the how-to sticky does explain things.....you get a DISign, you print it out, you iron it on and presto!! you have a shirt! each package of iron-ons also has directions enclosed.....
