I will be in Orlando for business this weekend and will be doing a one day quick hit of Epcot to be able to go do Soaring and Mission Space - Soaring being the important part.

Can you please give me a step by step guide on what I should do when I come in through the gates to Epcot.

Where do I go immediately - I don't even know where it is located?

Since it will be a Saturday I need quick routes right to the FastPass station for Soaring and then how to get over to Mission Space fast too.

Thanks guys! :hyper:

Veer right at spaceship earth then run hell for leather over to the land pavilion, its in there on your left

Definitely get that fastpass as soon as Epcot opens--you may not get one otherwise.

Your two desired attractions are on opposite sides of future showcase. Go for your fastpass at Soarin in the Land. Just get into the pack of lemmings streaming toward the pavillion. Once you're there you can decide if its worth waiting standby. It's my understanding that the first fastpass return times aren't until after 10 am, but I could be wrong.

You shouldn't have a problem with Mission Space. It's scared lots of people off and the lines don't seem to be very long. You can probably hit MS while you wait for your fast pass return time for Soarin.

Have a great time.

Stay right of the Earth - listen to the groups around you, they are all doing the same thing as you...

From what I've read the CM's are going to try and use a rope to make sure no running or pushing ensues on the way over to the land, so again, be aware of who is around you... when you walk up to the land, then go around the right side to go down the escalators, then head straight and to the right for Soarin, if you are there at rope drop, the stand by line will be under 20 min, ride it, as you get off grab a FP to ride again... or grab the FP and head over to MS - - (our family loved Soarin so much we did do the stand by line, FP, then did test track, then Soarin again... and again!! lol)

For MS you head out of the land and head over to the other side of the park to get to MS...

I wonder if there is a "single rider" line for MS???? I know there are Single rider lines for Test track...

good luck, have fun!!

Thank you so much.

Another dummy question:

Can you get a FP and then ride in standby right then or do I have to ride and then get the FP?

If you get to the park prior to 9am opening, when they let you through the turnstyle, you should head back to Spaceship Earth, and go to the right (follow the crowd!!:teeth: . A couple weeks ago (on a Sunday), when we got to the area around Innoventions (Right across from Character Connection), we were stopped by a human chain of CMs. Once we watched all the characters come out to open the park, we were then escorted by the group of CMs back to The Land (turn right through Innoventions). They led us all the way to the bottom of the walkway up to The Land, and then it was a free for all :crowded: - close to stampede for people to get inside and go down the steps to Soarin. I sent my DD8:woohoo: back to get in the queue line, while I got us Fastpasses - these were from 9:40. We got on the first ride of the day, came out, rode The Living Land, and then went back to ride Soarin' again.

Now I am waaaay scared. I had no idea it was this crazy to get on it. I am soooo glad I am not going with my children. I would be freaked with them in tow for this.

Well, at least since its just me, there will be no need to maneuver a stroller around the downed fellow crazed Soarers.

What about if you enter through International Gateway? Do you stand a chance?
