We are almost at the 180 day mark to make ADR. :yay: We are on the DDP and there are 6 in the party (9 total traveling but 3 will be dining on their own). We have chosen Crystal Palace at MK, Coral Reef at Epcot, Sci-Fi Dinner Theater at MGM and Boma at AKL. All would be for dinner, table service credits around 6 or 7 PM. Has any one had very good or very bad experiences with these that can help me solidify my decision. Ant other suggestions of places that you feel are a must try? :confused3 TIA for the help!! :goodvibes

how many nights are you going to be there? do you need more suggestions?

the two i've eaten at crystal palace and sci fi, and both were a long time ago, so i don't really remember much, as i was a kid :).

i must say that i am going to be eating at both crystal palace and boma on my upcoming trip in february, though. i've heard great things about boma, and i do remember loving the characters at crystal palace.

as for other recommendations, i really love the 50's prime time cafe for the atmosphere, and a couple of my other favorites are chefs de france and marrakesh. i also really liked the vegetarian option at ohana, while my mother loved the "meat" option.

We ate at CP and Sci-Fi in August. We loved CP and loved the atmosphere at Sci-Fi but had mixed opinions on the food. 2 other favorites from our trip were Biergarten and 'Ohana.

Boma is a no brainer, keep it.

Coral Reef was a wonderful lunch choice, keep it as well.

No first hand experience with the others.

Generally speaking I'd look at the park schedules, consider travel time and shows to be sure you can fit it all in. For example, if you want to do Fantasmic, be sure your ADR fits in before or after the show at MGM.

Good luck!

Don't waste a TS credit on Sci-Fi. If you just want to go there for the fun of the experience, make an ADR and then just pay OOP for a dessert or something. The food is lackluster at best.
