I need to pick a resturant in Epcot for a family of six. The only resturant I have experience with in Epcot is Le Cellier. So your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you,

We always enjoy the Biergarten. The tables can easily accommodate a party of six. The food is very good, the beer flows easily, and the entertainment is fun.

I have looked at this one. My biggest problem is we have a picky eater to consider. Which makes picking resturants difficult.

Any children? Garden Grill is fun and has chicken fingers, french fries, and mac & cheese for the picky eaters. Flank steak, turkey and catfish for more adventurous folk. Kids get a decorate your own cupcake for dessert so adults can enjoy their dessert as the kids are busy. Character interaction is great with Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale.

I also nominate Biergarten. -Especially- if you have a child or a picky eater! The atmosphere and entertainment are alot of fun (I loved watching the dance party they had in front of the stage every so often...very cute!). The restaurant is a buffet, with -lots- to choose from, from the very authentic German (saurkraut, schnitzle, schpatzle, saurbraghten, etc) to more 'north american' food (pasta, salads, etc). Their desserts were also very very yummy!

Also, for a large group, the wait to get in might not be so long. Being large 'beer garden/tent' style seating (IE: long tables with benches/chairs on either side) that seat 8 or 10, you would likely be paired with another couple as well. I remember when my family of 4 ate there, we were paired with another family of four. Made for great dinner conversation and new (short lived, admittedly!) friends!

Le Chefs de France. Very nice atmosphere, good food, good service. More upscale than Biergarten but not stuffy.

Le Cellier is Epcot's most popular restaurant because it's the closest to "American, generic food." (Besides the fact that it's just very, very good!)

Rose and Crown is generally considered number two because, again, it has food that most Americans can associate with.

But we've found that all of the restaurants have at least one or two things that appeal to picky eaters. Think of the millions of people that come to Disney every year and the knock they get at ethnic restaurants for not serving anything to appeal to a mass audience. To avoid that criticism, they strive to always have something on the menu that's relatively plain.

I'd also put a strong vote in for Biergarten. For lovers of German food it is excellent. For picky eaters, you'll find some chicken or meatballs that usually do the trick.

Have fun no matter what you choose!

How about Teppenyaki in Japan? There would be room for 6 around one of the grills, plus one other family. I've eaten there twice and love it. The interaction with the chef can be alot of fun, and each one usually has one or two little tricks they do while cooking. My personal fav from my last visit was the onion volcano ;)

Thank you so much for all of your replies. You have all been a big help. :thumbsup2

Biergarten is a great place for a picky eater. We have one or two of them! We always go here because they can find SOMETHING to eat. There were hot dogs there the last time we were there and mac and cheese. These were their staples!!!! And as someone said, desserts are wonderful!!!!!

I'll second this. Japan's restaurant is awesome, especially for a family since you sit around a big grill. From being a DIS member, I have noticed that this restaurant is often overlooked, but it is just fantastic!!!

Teppanyaki or Nine Dragons.... they're both an experience as well as dinner. My daughter is big on chicken and we've been able to feed her on both places.
