Please HELP me with a last minute Ressie, I'm scared!

Hi Guys ~well the good news is I my DH & I decided to suprise the kids with a last minute trip!
I want to make a ressie at POP or ASsports for June 8th six nights..looking to book the cheapest package with the dining plan.
I have never booked by phone or online..which is best? I went online and got a quote of $1978 including dining for ASsports...but then tonight it said nothing was available at any of the values!
What is the best phone number to use? Surely I can book by phone???

What do you suggest for last minute trips?

I always book by phone. Call 1-800-828-0228. Good luck!!

I would call. It is entirely possible that many resorts are booked though Good luck and let us know how it goes :

Good morning, thanks for the responses. I refuse to believe that I can't get ONE tiny room in a place that big...hopefully my optimism will pay off!
So I should call the 800 number instead of the one listed online?

HI again, just an update:
I got a ressie at All Star Sports..not my first choice but I had to book a value. First the guy said there was nothing, so I changed my date by one day & they had it!
So I booked a 6n/7d MYW package with dining & 7 day base ticket for $1978 including taxes...is that a good deal? I was pleased because last year we spent over 4k flying & at BWV.

Oh, I have a confirmation number but haven't gotten the email yet..is that unusual? I made the ressie at about 9am this AM!

If you book over the phone you won't get an email confirmation unless you book a Grand Gathering reservation for 8 or more people age 3 and over. You can always go to Disneyworld.com and click on My Disney Vacation . Once you enter your reservation number and phone number you'll be able to view your reservation.

Wierd..the CM asked for my email address & said I was getting a confirmation...

Good Luck with the Disney website using My Disney Vacation! When I first booked our trip it showed up then it disappeared and has never been on the website since. They still don't have the bugs worked out of it yet. Hopefully you will have better luck.

I only stayed at POP and loved it!
