Hi!

My brother and his family have non-refundable tickets on Delta to Orlando in June and now they think they would like to RV out west.

If they cancel their flights will they lose all the money spent on the tickets or will they receive a credit for future travel. If they receive credit does Delta take fees from that credit?

Thanks for any info!!!

Carla

For most ticket types Delta charges a $150 fee to "cancel and reuse" the ticket. In addition, the funds must be used within 12 months of the origianal purchase date.

There are some new "elcheapo" tickets out there that are COMPELTELY non-refundable but I have actually not seen any.

Also, if these were international tickets the rules are different. (My last international change fee was $400)

You have one year from the ticket's original issue date to reschedule your travel without losing the full value of the ticket (less any applicable change fees).
