I watched some YouTube videos before asking, but some of them contradicted one another.

I am arriving December 3rd.....My first park day will be the 4th. We are there through the 12th, with the 11th as our last park day.

We intend to purchase LLs (availability will be the decider) for the 4th or 9th plus the 5th, 6th, 10th and 11th.
We are going to DS on the 5th and I am thinking there may not be much availability.

If I understand correctly, our window opens on the 27th of November for the 3rd - 9th. I would need to login the following 2 days for the rest of my vacation?

Is this how the system works? Please let me know if I am misunderstanding it.

Window opens at 7 AM EST?

November 27th - Book 3rd - 9th
November 28th - Book 10th
November 29th - Book 11th

Yes your LL booking window opens on November 27th at 7 AM ET for your dates beginning on December 4th for up to 14 days. This assumes that you are staying on-site since you mention the 7 day before arrival in you post.

There is no need to split your LL purchase into 2 booking dates. Does this make sense to you?

I arrive on the 3rd. Does my window open on arrival day or first park day? I am guessing arrival - and yes, I am onsite.
I have seen both stated by Disney on their "ask" panel.

I am able to book my entire trip at one time, not just 7 days? I got that from a YT video.

If staying onsite and checking in on December 3rd it would be 7 days prior to that which would be November 26th.
Yes 7am eastern.

You can book for length of stay max up to 14 days.

So you'll be booking all of your lightning lanes on November 26th.

DS is Disney Springs...
DHS or just HS is Hollywood Studios.
I'm guessing that's what you're talking about on the 5th?
There should be availability for most if not all attractions but may not be a time you like but that's the case with every park every day.

Okay, all of that makes sense. Sounds like some of these YT videos have some inaccurte information. I did FP and FP+ for so long, and then G+. This is my first time with this newest tool.

:) I still call it MGM half of the time and Downtown Disney all of the time. I guess I have never thought of DS (Disney Studios) being read as Disney Springs.

No your LL window opens 7 days before your on-site resort arrival. It does not matter when your first park day is.

I reference Nov. 27th since you used in your post. @Kooks and Bay Bay was correct to use Nov. 26th, exactly 7 days before your Dec. 3rd arrival.
