I have booked through Southwest for the first time and am so confused about the Ding thing
We (6 of us) are planning an April 08 trip. When the fares opened in November I booked whatever I could. All the cheapest Wanna Get Away flights filled up very quickly. I got decent prices, but am hoping for even cheaper.
So how does DING work for me now? Will there be reductions in the flights that are already "unavailable", or is the DING for new flights? It's a busy spring break time, and if most of the flights are already "unavailable", what are the chances those dates would have a DING rate?
And if I do see a Ding rate I like, can I easily change my reservations and get the credit on my SW account?
Any help at all would be appreciated!
