We are going to WDW in Sept this year for 9 nights. Can I get some help with picking a resort??? I think we have it down to the BC Or POLY. My chilren will be 12,8 & 6. Can I get the pros and cons of the resort?
Thanks,

Mindy

Can't speak for the Poly - this would be a dream trip for me. I have however stayed at the BC- rented points for a DVC studio. The resort is beautiful. The pool is fantastic and getting to the studios, EPCOT, & the MK is a breeze. Being on the Boardwalk means there is lots to do when you aren't in the parks.

And I can't speak for the BC - that is my dream stay. We have stayed at the Poly several times and absolutely love it but we have always wanted to try the BC. Either way, you win. They are both great resorts.

I love just hanging out at the Boardwalk. Definitely plus for BC. You can walk from BC to Epcot and DHS. Another huge plus.

Poly has the monorail and great restaurants but you also have that (the restaurants) on the boardwalk.

I would choose depending on where you are going to be spending most your time? MK or Epcot/DHS??

Also the pool at the BC is pretty cool. But the one at the Poly is nice, too

Thanks for the imput. I just can't make up my mind!! Just want to enjoy the choicewe make!

I voted for the beach club. It really depends on the parks or park you visit.
The monorail is nice when traveling with a stroller, also the boats are just as nice when traveling with a stroller, the pool at Beach club is the most spectacular pool in my opinion, for your children ages 12 thru 8. It truly has the wow facor and is well supervised with many life guards. The Beach club also has two parks close by that don't require a bus,EPCOT is so easy to walk to, 5 to 10 minutes at the most, and the back entrance to get in to the park is never crowded. The eye candy at night with the board walk and activities for the kids is magical and many free street entertainers along with carnival games to play. My kids dont want to stay anywhere else. They have movies on the beach with roasting marshmallows every night. My thing is that you never get bored there and yet it's very serene and relaxing at the same time: best of both worlds. Hope whatever choice you make works for your family as the Beach Club works for ours. Have a magical trip!

You won't be disappointed in either resort. We've stayed at both -- BC is our favorite. DonnaDuck333 above described almost word-for-word how we feel about BC. There is so much to do in the BC area....as described above. We love the fact that we never get bored there. When we stay at Poly, once Wishes ends then the general feel there is to settle in for the night, which we like sometimes, but overall we love the feeling at BC a lot better.

I said the Beachclub for the pool and the proximity to both Epcot and DHS. Plus many people enjoy activities/entertainment on the boardwalk which you would be so close to. With the ages of your children it just seems like the Beach club would be really enjoyable to them. Have fun. It's a wonderful to choice to have to make!!!
