Hi guys!!

Sorry for all the questions lately but I am trying to decide some things in the very early planning stages of my Disney Vow Renewal. The only thing I have decided on is that it is definitely going to be at Disney!

I am still trying to decide if I could do a custom wedding or an intimate one and I have a few questions and decisions that I still am not quite sure about. (imagine that!) I was wondering if someone could tell me what days of the week and times of day the intimate pakages are offered. I am pretty sure I am going with Sunset Pointe. The only thing holding me up from being sure is the fact that they only can accomodate 10 guests at this location. I am sort of in a hard spot on this one though, the only way I will be able to do it if all of the family comes, and this will only work if my bil and sil will agree to let their kids go to one of the kids activity centers, but my kids will be there. It is sort of a bad spot, because I don't feel like I should change something I would like just so the kids can come, but I still feel bad. It is a no win situation, what do you guys think??

I was also wondering this....I would like to do dinner after the ceremony, do most of disney's restaurants allow wedding attire??

Thanks in advance

Kim

Alot of people do no kids. It's your choice. I would just give them ideas of fun activities for them or hire one of the inroom services for childcare. You can wear your wedding attire in some of the resort restaurants. I know my parents did at the Grand Floridian. I would just definately talk to that restaurant first.

i see this alot what soes umping mean?? sorry it is a silly question

and about your situation i think that it will be fine the kids would really enjoy a playroom they are really cool. Do they get to go to the dinner? if yes then it is fine

Thanks for the replies, I spent last night just sort of vegging out at the computer, looking at different stuff and found STVS's web site, and I am pretty sure that I have totally changed my mind and I want to have the VR at the wedding pavilion now. I know, I just hope this isn't just one of many changes that I will make. Does anyone know what the restrictions are for the WP? Like the times you can have it and the days of the week? I would also like to know where the cake reception is held and if you use the cinderella coach, how do the rest of your guests get to the pavilion?
Thanks

Kim

For an intimate ceremony you can book the WP Mon-Thurs and have a max of 20 people. They have time slots every couple of hours I believe starting at 8:30 and ending at 5:00. They can tell you which dates and times they have available. I believe the 2:30 slot is the most popular.
The cake reception is held at Commander's Terrace at GF. I have only seen pictures (there are a lot on this board) but it looks beautiful!

Hope that helps! I am curious about the coach as well...

YOu and possibly your dad are the only ones that ride in the coach. Everyone else either drives themselves (there's a parking lot next to the WP), rides in a limo you rent from the GF over, or walks from the GF - there is a paved path over there. Keep in mind, the path looks short, but it's farther than it looks (Disney deceptive distance thing). If they're in nice clothes and dress shoes, it can be quite a hike!

Oh, and yes, most of the resort restaurants allow wedding attire - it's going into the park that they won't allow unless you've booked it as part of your custom wedding. For me, our reception is in EPCOT so we will be in our wedding attire in the park. THe catch to that was we have to hire a bus to drive us and all guests there, and we have to pay for a DIsney escort. I think it's only $200 for the night for the escort, but it's $600 for the bus. That way though all of our guests are picked up at their disney hotel and delivered to the WP, then taken directly from there to EPCOT, and back to their hotels at the end of the night. Eliminates the "I got lost" issue and the drinking and driving issue. I personally love the idea.
Hope that helps.
