And I would absolutely not allow my kids to make financial decisions for me, especially when I'm struggling to support them. You can do lots of other things to make them proud.
It will help me get to a closer college which would than help me get off assistance. The college i'd like to attend is easy and close to get to in a car but its close to a 2 hour commute getting there by public transportation. I've already decided to go to school in manhattan though so I'm not bugged by it .
