Last year my adult DD and I took or annual trip to DL/DCA the first weekend in November. It was nice, still a bit crowed on the weekend. The Christmas decorations were starting to appear but no Christmas parades, firework, were starting until the following weekend which was Veterans day.

This year we were in debate to arrive on a Wednesday, enjoy the parks Thursday through Saturday. Should be go again Nov 1-4 which would according to the crowd calendars not that bad or wait until Dec. 6-9 were it will be more crowds but definitely be Christmas festivities.

We do enjoy attending the River Belle Terrace Fantasmic dining experience last year which I was lucky enough to get, and dessert parties when they are offered.

Which dates would you choose in the parks, Thursday though Saturday: November 2-4 or December 7-9?

Thanks in advance!

I would do the December dates. The Nov dates are too close to dreaded October. LOL You will still have some people from Halloween (one of the busiest days of the year) for your Nov dates, and this way you get to experience all the wonderful Christmas overlays (Small World, Haunted Mansion) and entertainment. That can make any crowds feel more manageable because there are more things to divert people.

Both of the Saturdays you have will be blocked for all but the top tier Magic Key, which often are the best days to go. The Dec dates also will be after the first weekend of Christmas stuff, so again you may experience lower crowds.
