Is it possible to buy, say 75 points now at resale at SSR (or wherever), then do an add-on directly of say, 50 points from WDW at the new AKLV and then use ALL the points for an AKLV stay, booked 11 months out? I'm so confused!

No, you can use the 50 AKV points at the 11 month mark at AKV, and the 75 SSR points at SSR. Or, you can wait until the 7 month mark and combine the points.

In addition to what Chuck indicated, you can also borrow 50 AKV points from the following UY and book 100 points at the 11 month mark at AKV.

To confuse it a bit more, let's say you want to make a trip in Year 2. You can bank the 50 points from Year 1 into Year 2. You can borrow 50 points from Year 3 into Year 2. Add those to the 50 points you get for Year 2 and you can use up to 150 points at AKV at the 11 month window.

Please note that all of these points came from the AKV contract, which are the only points that give you the 11 month booking capability at AKV.
