I am asking for all veterans to PLEASE help a pregnant woman plan a quick trip to Disney! I am 5 months pregnant with our 2nd child. Our first is a boy who is 2. We wanted a last-minute quick trip to Disney before the new baby. We can go anytime during the week of April 5, but only can afford 4 days 3 nights. I know the cheapest way is to go off-site and as much as I hate to I know we will have to. Does anyone have any recomendations or deals you know for this time? In total it will be 4 adults and 1 2 yr. old. As far as tickets go We are all going to decide on 3 parks. Does anyone know of any 3-day hoppers going on right now? And let me THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your time and help!

Kas,
I am planning with a bun baking in my oven too. I will be 7 months during our trip next month.
The dates you selected are going to be really busy. So take it slow and rest and get your feet up, while the rest of your group are on the rides that you can't go. And I know this is mundane but drink lots of water, it's going to be hot and you don't want to blow up like a balloon.
If you are really on a tight budget I would reccomend trying to get a nice hotel on priceline.com. But go to biddingfortravel.com first to see what hotels people are getting and to see what price you should start your bid. I always save a ton of money using priceline, and espically for spur of the moment trips where money it tight cutting corners on everything is nice. If you need help with pricline e-mail me and I would be happy to walk you through it.

Try e-bay for park tickets.

and some of the other tips are to eat breakfast in your hotel, maybe bring in sack lunches (we always do this) And just eat out away from the park once a day.

Good luck and happy pregnancy!

I know that they are selling 3 day Park Hoppers with 1 Plus option over at http://shop.gaydays.com/tickets/themepark.php - The tickets would have to be used before the year is over and are only good for 10 days from first use date. There is no 3 day PHP available for purchase through any reputable ticket broker. The tickets are only available when you are doing a convention/group sales sort of event.

I suggest that you do a lot of reading at www.allearsnet.com and www.mousesavers.com and www.themouseforless.com ASAP! Maggie

Not flaming you but I personally would not buy the passes on Ebay. You have absolutely no way of knowing if the passes are valid until you are at the gates of the parks. Not to mention passes seem to go quite high on Ebay.

I'd suggest you join MouseSavers newsletter and look for ticket specials for members only.

For staying off-site you might look into Hotel Kingdom or Hotel Mart A suite might be better for 4 adults than a regular room and still at a savings too.

thanks I didn't mean to say e-bay there I miss typed. If you have a problem with tickets you bought on e-bay and paid via pay pal you will get your money refunded. Plus you would only want to buy from someone who had only possitive feedback. And not from a new seller.

Check out hotels on McCoy Road and Florida Mall. They are cheaper and are only 10-15 minutes away from the parks, near Beeline Expressway 528 and not as busy as International Drive. There are IHOPS, Waffle House, Chili's, Tony Romas, Cracker Barrel, TGIF, etc. nearby to enjoy.

My kids always love peanut butter. We tend to throw in a bunch of the uncrustables by smuckers and use them to snack on, etc. Get some fruit and that should cut on your meals.

Don't count on getting your money refunded on tickets purchased on EBAY by using PAYPAL.

There was a poster a year ago who got NOWHERE with that since the tickets still had the plus options on them. Plus you are on thin ground, you have broken Florida law so your options are limited.

I would recommend NOT using EBAY for tickets. Even if you can get your money back you are going to be out fow a while. If you get to Disney and your ticket does not work you will have to buy new ones and then come home and fight with the seller.

Do a search for the threads on ALamo. They have a way you can buy a three day hopper. I don't have the info handy, but someone will.

Go to skyauction.com and see if you can get a ready/set/go aucution on a condo. With the number of adults that would be good.

Did you try mousesavers.com? Mary has a trip report for a very inexpensive way to do a few days, which you could easily use as a starting place, then modify to suit your preferences. A big plus for you is that on this trip you will only need adult park tickets.

I really think you can do it! (And it might help to think of this as the first trip of many - checking things out so you know what you want to do next time. Might take the pressure off needing this trip to be perfect.) Good luck!::MinnieMo
