In all my trips to WDW I have never found Fettucini (or any kind of pasta) Alfredo on any of the menus :confused3 As pasta is a staple in my normal diet and Fettucini Alfredo is my absolute favorite.... I would love to find it this trip :wizard:

Any ideas of which menus to search :confused3

Thanks!

At POP Century you can find a Pasta Alfredo, it also comes with chicken.
The pasta noodles are penna or mostocholi noodles...sorry no fettuchini.

I think that may be as close as you come unless you can find it at Tony's or Tutto's.

I have had the Pasta Alfredo at POP and it is very good.

Oh you might find it at Wolfgang Puck's in DTD, not sure though.

Good luck, I had to have my pasta fix while at WDW as well.....I enjoyed the pasta alfredo at POP and then the spaghetti with tomato and basil sauce at WPE....oh my that was out of this world!!!

I had a friend along on a trip last year with the same ... opinion of alfredo. (Obsession, in her case  )

In addition to the food court at POR with the design-your-own pasta, she found it at Planet Hollywood in DTD, and a close approximation of it at Portobello, also in DTD. My mom has had a pasta dish with something close to alfredo at Wolfgang Puck Express, also in DTD.

Seems perhaps DTD is your best shot.... :confused3

I don't particularly like it, myself, so I don't notice menus with it, but when travelling with my friend last year she did comment that something that seems so common in most mainstream restaurants here at home - was oddly absent in WDW.

I'm not sure about fettucini alfredo but Sci Fi Diner has a pasta dish with shrimp. Although, I love shrimp and I love carb loading but this dish was so bad I couldn't finish it.

Cap'n Jacks in DTD makes a pretty good penne alfredo (imho... and my dh's). You can get it with or without chicken... always a fav. of ours on the trip!

All Stars Movies & Music have the Chicken Penne Past also (yummy). It is really good and has alfredo sauce, my favorite also. Only a little over 5 months until I can eat it again:cool1:

I know I've seen it lots of places around the food threads. Off the top of my head I think that Tutto Italia has something like it and Portobello (I think they are listed as cream parmesan sauces rather than Alfredo by name, but it's the same thing) I'm pretty sure that Wolfgang Puck has it, too. I definitely know that Cap'n Jack's at Downtown Disney has penne alfredo which you can add chicken or shrimp too. I had the penne alfredo with shrimp and it was one of the yummiest dishes I ever ate.

Ummm.... In "all your trips" did you never consider ALFREDO's in Italy?? :rolleyes1:confused3. I mean, they were the originator of the dish....

At any rate, Tutto Italia often has a cream based sauce with peas & prociutto over Farfalle that is similar (close enough). This may now only be at lunch.

Portobello also has Farfalle with a parmesan cream sauce, again... close enough.

I'm sure you could ask for fettucini or other wide shaped pasta that might be on the menu instead.

Do any of the CS restaurants in the parks have pasta? When I was at DL they have it a couple of places and I wonder why they don't at WDW unless I have just missed it.

Alfredo's in the Italy pavilion had the real thing -- just noodles, butter and cheese with no gloppy cream sauce and no peas. It was truly something special.

With the departure of Alfredo's, I know of no place at WDW where one can get Fettucine Alfredo. I agree with a previous poster -- head to NYC and have it at Alfredo's there!

Money may well have had something to do with Alfredo's departure. But, it also didn't help that the restaurant was constantly panned on these boards for reasons I never understood.

I thought the penne pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken at POP was very good as was the make your own pasta at POR. I think I remember having fettucini noodles with alfredo sauce at POR when I did the make your own pasta. Anyway, it was very very good.
