Please help me find a princess dress!!!

I managed to book the Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridan for my daughter who's 9. We're going in November and this is our first (and probably only for a very long time) trip so I want to get her a princess dress for her but I don't want to spend a fortune for a dress that she's only going to wear a couple of times. ALSO, she is very tall for her age and the little girls sizes don't fit her anymore. She needs like a women's small or medium depending, but the only women's sizes I can find are like $90! I've been looking on EBAY, but it's the same thing. Either they are too small or like $90. Does anyone know where I can get one? Any help would be appreciated! TIA

There is a site on E-bay selling disney dresses, it was on a post a while back. I will try to find the thread for you. It had some adult dresses. I had the same problem and we settled on a tule skirt and ballet suit for under it. I bought a tiera at the Disney store of the Princess and all is good. Just a cheap thought. The Disney store ones were too small. Good luck!

I just received my Disney catalog in the mail today and they've released all their Halloween-wear. Adult Cinderella is $75. Better than $90, but still pretty high. We have an Iwanna newspaper in these parts, and there's stuff like that listed a lot. Check consignment shops in your area.

I would like to add that we bought a Snow White dress for DD2 in February assuming she'd only wear it to Cindy's, but she wore it practically every day, and puts it on regularly here at the house. Your daughter is older than mine, but you may be surprised at the use you get from the dress!

I just returned from the Contemporary where they had many princess outfits. You could call them and ask what they have available and the cost of shipment.

They have an Adult Minnie Mouse Costume at Disneydeals for around 30$. I know she's not technically a princesses but it's a cute costume.

I just ordered a dress from "My dress up trunk" on ebay. They have alot of kids sizes and also adult sizes. I got the Ariel dress for my DD and she loves it. I usually make my kids costumes but I didn't have the time this summer before her b-day and to be honest I couldn't have made it for any less than the price I paid for the costume at this shop-I think it cost me around $25 including shipping.

Just today I was looking for a jasmine costume for my daughter for halloween. My first thought was to check ebay. There were many for around $40-$50 (kids sizes). Then I checked amazon.com and found that toys r us sells them on line for only $19.99. This was the exact same (and I mean exact) costume that was on ebay for close to $50. Disney Direct is having a sale on thier halloween costumes, I got the Ariel I wanted for my DD for $19.99 and the crown for $5.99, then some other stuff so I used the $10 off $50 code I found over on the budget board! Good luck!

Have you tried looking for a formal? Stores like DEB have some formal dresses on the sale racks a lot. She could just get a tiara from Claires. My niece is doing this to be like the Hilary Duff version of Cinderella from her movie.
