Hi all,
I am needing a hotel for 3 nights- Nov. 30 thru Dec 3. Just a couple weeks away. I prefer to keep it around $150 a night. Walking distance isn't necessary if it is a nice hotel that we can get a shuttle from. My daughter doesn't like walking- even when staying at Candy Cane inn we used the shuttle exclusively. We will only have two days in the park so most likely will stay there all day and not take a hotel break anyway. I know it's last minute but any recommendations are appreciated. TIA!

Have you tried any places yet? That might help. I will look on hotels.com for you!

Wyndham Garden Grove is about $140 a night

Holiday Inn on Walnut is about $150

Hotel Menage is $154

Best Western Plus Pavillions is $156

That's about it for $150 a night.

Most everything nearby is sold out. That is Candlelight weekend. Hotels.com has lots more farther away if you want to check that out.

Yeah this close you'll have to see whats available and go from there. We once had to stay at the Embassy Suites down Harbor further than we usually stay. But they had a shuttle for a nominal fee.

Tropicana at the crosswalk has availability $179, $199 and $199 for those nights.
Park Vue Inn again at the crosswalk is $189 per night.

Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate the ideas and will look those up. We have only stayed either on site, or at Fairfield, Hojo, and Candy Cane. We had originally planned one night at DLH and staying with family the other nights, but plans changed and now I just need an affordable clean place for 3 nights.

If you are already looking at taking a shuttle, try checking the hotels on Harbor in Garden Grove, e.g. Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites, etc. The rates are usually lower in Garden Grove, and those hotels are only about a mile south of the parks.

I ended up booking Hotel Indigo through Get Away Today. Thanks for all the suggestions, I have a headache from all the browsing lol.

We've stayed at Hotel Indigo and it was very clean. I am a fan of laminate flooring over carpet, so that was a plus for me. The walk isn't bad (I'd say about 10-15 minutes). CVS and Walgreens are super close which was nice to be able to stock up on water and snacks. Have a great time!!
