We will be a party of 10 over Christmas week, and we are interested in a seafood buffet. We have been to Cape May Cafe on previous trips, and very well may go back again, but we would also like to consider other places nearby. We will have transportation, so that isn't a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oh, and it will most likely be the night of Jan 1, so I am also concerned about any possible closings due to the holiday. Thanks for reading! :wave2:

Outside of Cape May Cafe I do not believe there are any good seafood buffets close to Disney. There are "Lobster Buffets" but I do not believe they are anywhere near the quality of Cape May. But if you are interstead in these "Lobster Buffets" there are three alone on 17-92. Cooney Island(pretty sure they are a "lobster buffet), Boston Lobster Feast(A chain that is around Central Florida), and then one called Angel's attached to a hotel.

I went to Angel's once, the lobsters were "small"(one claw and were quite tiny) and I don't think they had any other type of seafood.

Not sure if they are open on the 1st

Thanks for the input. Sounds like we will stick with Cape May. Not really into Lobster that much. :D

Absolutely stick with Cape May. Even with the extra charge for crab leg, it is a far better place to dine than any of the seafood buffets available off site. Honestly? They are all pretty disgusting in terms of quality of seafood and cleanliness.

Particularly since it is a Christmas time meal for you, you'll want it to be nice. Stick with Cape May!
