Any help is greatly appreciated!

Are you doing the DDP? If so, Deluxe or Regular? If not, let me know!

What kind of budget are you working with?

First of all- how much food do you eat? I noticed that 4 out of 5 breakfasts are buffet and 3 of those are character meals. Do you really want to do that many? Same for lunches and dinners. 2 character lunches and 3 character dinners.

Now assuming that you want to have tons of fun with the characters, that's great! I will suggest Beaches & Cream (no ADRs taken) for a bit of fun- it's a ice cream parlor setting. Small, but great burgers and hot dogs, sundaes, cherry cokes.

Citrico's at the GF is very nice and has great food- same for Artist Point at WL. The Wave at the CR as well as California Grill at the top of CR is worth the price. Flying Fish at BW is yummy too!

I've given you too much to think about- but they're just alternatives.

Good luck, and if you have any questions- I'll be around!

Thx for the advice...as of now, no dining plan involved BUT we may purchase it through DVC...GENERALLY we are the type of family that is satisfied with bfast {bagels/cereal/fruit} in the room; and one sit down lunch or dinner per day with the other meal being a counter service...thyou for bringing to my attention all the character meals I have...1 or 2 of those will be the first to go

If you're dining OOP, consider maybe and appetizer/salad/soup and sharing the entree.

I've gotten to the point that even at CA Grill I'll order a salad and an appetizer, and just tell the server to bring my appetizer when the entrees come out. The upside of this strategy is that I'm not so full that dessert goes flying by.

We tried Tutto Italia for the first time over Labor Day, and it was much better than I anticipated! The calamari was the best I've ever had- and DH loved the lasagna! We did a F&W event there last Saturday, and it was AMAZING! Four courses w/wine and it was fantastic!

We've almost done them all- so I'll be around if you need anymore suggestions to totally overwhelm you ;)

First and foremost, I can't stress dinner at Boma enough!!!! :thumbsup2
Our dinner there was by far the best dining exp we had on our trip, and we were even ready to cancel other ADRs to go back!

We ended up with a couple of character meals/buffets... not impressed at all. The food was cold before we were back at the table (each trip--even after getting stuff 'right off the grill'), and long waits for characters meant tables of folks just sitting (looking very, very bored) after they finished eating while they waited for characters.

(Yes, Boma is a buffet-- but the food was always still nice and hot long after getting back to the table!)

Keep the Tusker House breakfast! The food was our favorite on the whole trip... and the characters are cute and fun in their safari outfits! :)
