Please help me decide

Okay, everyone- I need a little help. We (Mom, myself and 3 yr. old niece) are staying in the World for 6 nights in early May. We have a wonderful castmember cousin, so she booked our hotel stay at a great discount. We are currently booked at ASSp for a total price of $333. However. . . I'm just itching to upgrade! Mom doesn't want to, so I'd have to pay the extra money myself. I was quoted POR for $482 and WL $850. What would you do?? We have stayed at ASMU, POR, BC and Swan before and have always been satisfied with the service and accomodations. Thanks for your help!

WL is beautiful but the upgrade looks steep

I was wondering what the pros and cons are to dividing our 8 night stay.
Just me and DD so no little ones to move. We are at POFQ, but I thought it might be fun to stay a few nights at Contemporary or WL.
Anyone have feedback?

I would pay the $100 plus to upgrade to POR. The WL would be great, but that's a lot of money for you to have to pay alone.

As for splitting a resort stay, I've done it several times. It's easy and a great way to try out other resorts (which in my opinion, is some of the best fun to be found at WDW)

Me (DH) and DS splitting 6 nights - 3 at POR and 3 at WL

I have read posts that range from great idea, allows one to see different places to split up my vacation, created hastle etc.

I would upgrade to POR. I don't think you would regret it but if you didn't you would be wishing you had. Have a Great Trip.
