I am starting to think a non-split stay may be best???????

I am hoping you guys can shed some light/advice on this since I am running around in circles in my mind regarding where to stay for our next trip. I really like the idea of trying something new, even though I fell completely in love with AKL last time we went. I was thinking it might be easy to just split our stay between 2 resorts this time so we could experience 2 places, but the more I look into this, the more it doesn't seem very feasible or cost effective. It seems if you stay at 1 resort, you can get the best discounts for your package. SOOOOO if this is the case, I am thinking of just booking beach club as it seems to have all the ammenities a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys would like. Such as SAB and access to Epcot and HWS (their favorite park). My only concern or negative point i have heard about this resort is if we choose to say concierge/club level.... the room for club level is very tiny and the offerings not as good as some other resorts?? (ie... AKL, Poly, etc...) We stayed concierge our last trip at AKL and absolutely loved it! The breakfast offerings (oatmeal, quinoa, fruit, bagels) where the PERFECT start to our morning. We also never found a reason to buy the resort mugs as pop/ drinks were availablable to us all the time! I do think, though, that by staying in one place we will be able to find the best deal. Will we be happy at BC for 11 nights? and anyone who has stayed there concierge, have you enjoyed the experience/options?
Thanks for all your help!! I will make a decision I can be happy with sooner or later I take everyone's comments and experiences very much to heart when deciding where to stay!

BC would be a great resort for you, but for the number of days you are staying, I wouldn't hesitate to do a split stay. I don't think it will effect the deals you receive if you have more than 3 nights stay per resort and you would. I could be wrong on this and someone with more knowledge will surely update us.

Granted it was ten years ago, but we stayed at the Yacht Club (right next door) for two weeks and loved it! There is a ton to do there!

I have never been one to enjoy split stays. Moving from one resort to another...eating up time to have fun to do so just isn't my cup of tea. I'm the type of person who likes to check into one resort and remain there my whole stay. I've also never experienced conceirge level of any resort. Yes, I've stayed in Deluxe Resorts, but never felt the need to shell out even more money for conceirge.

My first stay at the Beach Club will be this coming October. I'm truly excited over staying in this resort as it's always been one of my favorites and my "one of these days I'll be able to stay there" resort. From what I've read in the Faq threads on the Yacht & Beach Club along with the little I know of the resort from my time just walking around the resort is that it's perfect for teens and adults alike. There's so much to do...easy access to Epcot, MGM, Boardwalk areas not to mention the best resort pool on property. I truly don't see how you could go wrong with this resort! :)

Good luck in the decision making!

I would enjoy 2 entirely different surroundings for a 10 day vacation!

I think it is more fun to try 2 different hotels! Enjoy, whatever you decide!:goodvibes
