My ds11 and I have tickets for MNSSHP on Sept 29th. Yippeee!!! We also have reservations for the California Grill @ 8:00 pm on the 2nd. I made the reservations at 8:00 so we could see the fireworks.

Now I realize that the MNSSHP is going to be on the 2nd.

I am now debating whether or not we should buy tickets to go the Halloween party for a second night or keep the dinner reservation.

Does anyone know if the fireworks music is piped into CG during MNSSHP?

Is the party worth going to twice? We are really excited about going to the party but I was also excited about having a nice dinner with a view of the fireworks. I can't get reservations for that time any other night of the week so we would not be eating at the CG if we buy tickets to the party on the 3rd.

Anyone have an opinion? What would you do?

The fireworls view form CG is just spectacular. I would think one night at the party would be enough. (and yes the music is piped in)

We went once last year, it was such a FANTASTIC time that this year we decided not only to vacation once again in WDW (which is an expensive proposition because we live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada) but to go to the MNSSHP twice!

We booked our holiday specifically around this party it's that good...what we found last year was that there is so much to do and see (dance parties, character meet and greets, parade and fireworks, not to mention rides with no lines) that we didn't want it to end! We stayed til midnite (DD18mos., DS5, DS7) and closed the park...this year we are going to close it twice!! WOOHOO :woohoo:

The more I think about it the more I think that we should do the party twice.

I don't want to be sitting at the CG watching the fireworks and wishing I was a the party instead. I'm sure my son will enjoy the party more. I guess I will just have to use those TS credits at another place!

I also really wanted to do the horseback riding and/or Typhoon Lagoon and we can do one of them before the party. Gee, I'm not sure 10 days is going to be enough time to get everything in! I might just need to move to Florida! hehe
