ok so we are going to disney in a few weeks ive been wanting to stay at carribean beach with free dining but no rooms were available so we booked coronado springs it is 3 adults and a 2 year old. i just found an opening for carribean beach but its 500 dollars more for the same amount of days because its a preferred room. we have standard at coronado . should i pay the extra or will we be just as happy at coronado

I would be happier at CSR. I don't like CBR at all. Plus you can do a lot with $500. Food, souvenirs etc

You wanted to stay at CBR and an opportunity has presented itself. Go for it! :)

At least you know you'll be close to the food/main pool. At CSR you may be far away from everything assuming you're in a standard room.

It all comes down to the money. Is $500 a lot of money to you or is it a drop in the bucket? If the money is no problem, go for it; if it is a lot of money to you, then stay where you are.

just trying to decide if cbr is worth the extra money or are both resorts just as nice . ive never stayed at either one. i requested cabana area at coronado.

No. In my opinion CBR is not worth the extra $500. CSR is a very nice resort.

I agree with this, unless you have mobility issues and need to have a preferred room. I am all about spending the $500 on souvenirs, adult drinks and food and wine or a cool experience like Wild Africa Trek!

We stayed at CSR at Christmas and loved it! It is a delightful resort more money in my pocket as well yes please! I would def opt for this. It looks so pretty at night and the pepper food court is lovely. The Mayan pool is amazing. I rate it above CBR myself. But the only thing is as PP said if you have mobility issues it is a large resort. I am disabled but we had a preferred room here.

Do you have free dining both places? Or no dining both places? If that is the same id stick with the cheaper one.

$500 means a lot to me. I'd stay at CSR and plan for CBR next time. I think you would happy in either location.

CSR, as others have said $500 is more money for other things and unless you have mobility problems, none of the rooms are really that far away.

I originally had a Royal Room at POR for free dining. The opportunity presented itself for a regular room at CBR for free dining. It a savings of just over $500. I can never pass up a bargain and booked the CBR room because that $500 will be nice to have for spending at Disney.

The moderates are all similar in amenities. I think it's easy to be happy at any one of them. It's all about the Disney Parks for us, the room is just a nice place to sleep and maybe visit the pool.

We loved Coronado. That extra $500 could be a lot of fun experiences!
