My choices are Spring Break 2006 or June 11, 2006. I did put a deposit down on the June, 2006 cruise b/c I thought the weather would be warmer. But I wonder if it'll be way too crowded. So then I looked into Spring Break and found the rates to be bit cheaper than June. So now I'm wondering if I should switch my dates. My concern with March is weather the weather will be warm enough for swimming all day long. My kids are young and when we did Magic in 2004, they spent a lot of time at the pool. Even though we went in May, the pool wasn't warm enough for my kids until the afternoon. Which would be better weather? and the crowd? I know both are considered high season but which would be less crowded of the two? Any advice?

Hi...we went in March and maybe we were lucky, but our weather was amazing!! Sunny and warm in every port. Mind you I am from Canada. :)

Yes, I have heard that Summer is sooo sooo busy on the ships, but I am sure that spring break is not far behind. We went during our spring break, and the ship was full to capacity. We have also been in February and September, and the weather in February was too cool for us, September (aside from Jeanne)was beautiful everywhere.

So, just wanted to chime in with my thoughts, I would go with March instead of the summer.

Good Luck Deciding.. :goodvibes

Thanks for your reply Mammasita. I know what you mean about Canada. My DH's family is in Montreal. And I tell you the Winters there is just unbelievable. I pretty much told my DH that we'll only go during Summer and never in Winter time again.

Back in Jan I asked my TA to check on SP, Prez week and early June 06. We found SP (1st week of April for us) cheaper (ha) than the others. Everyone does not have the same spring break. So we booked the April 1 Magic. (Big trip/four daughters/five years in the planning) THEN in trying to decide what to do for our 20th Ann. (After learning how much was "left" from the family trip) we ended up booking the Wonder for June 11th for the two of us. WE ARE SO EXCITED. I figured the other cruise lines would have lots of grads and kids and if we stuck to the adult activities on DCL we'd have a nice adult time.

We live in GA and our local pool is never warm until July (by my standards).

Good Luck

I think the Disney ships sail full most of the time, so I don't know that crowds would be that different at one time or another, unless you're also spending time at the parks.

We've cruised with the ship at capacity and it didn't feel too crowded.

March weather is awesome....June really starts getting oppressively hot...If given the choice between March and June, with saving some $ in March, it would be a no-brainer....March all the way...Also, March is sooner than June....

Someone else posted the June is really hot, especially on port days. We are going in March next year (March 26th four night Wonder). It will be our first March cruise, but it sounds like it is a nice time of the year (I hope!).
