I posted yesterday about where I should go for dinner the night we arrive. I have narrowed it down to:

4:25 at Cinderella's Royal Table
5:15 at Chef Mickey's

Background- This will be our first WDW vacation and I'll be traveling with my husband and our two boys (2 & 4). We will be arriving into MCO at 9:00am, going to check in at Pop, rest a bit, then head to the Magic Kingdom. We want our first dinner to be memorable and special. We will be in WDW for 10 days and the other places we will be eating are:

Tusker House (breakfast)
Hollywood & Vine (lunch)
The Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Cape May Cafe (dinner)
Raglan Road (dinner)
Les Chefs de France (dinner)
Boma (dinner)
Ohana (dinner)
Le Cellier (lunch)

I'm trying to work out the pros and cons. A big one is the 2 credits with CRT vs. only 1 with Chef Mickey's. I just don't know! :confused3

I personally like Chef Mickeys. Cinderellas royal table is a wonderful restaurant, but with boys I think Chef Mickeys is a better choice. You have picked great restaurants to eat at. All of them are our favs. Enjoy your 1st trip to Disney!!!

Well CRT is the Princesses and Chef Mickey's is Mickey and the gang. I would do Chef Mickey's since you have boys. Unless you want the experience of being in the castle

This seems like good advice.

I would say Chef Mickey just because you have boys. Otherwise, it would be CRT as our dinner a few months ago at CM wasn't all that great

If you had even 1 girl, I would say CRT is the more memorable experience. But I just don't think it has the appeal for boys that Chef Mickey's does. We enjoy Chef Mickey's, although I do find it to be the loudest character meal of all. I'm sure your boys would like it. And I notice you've picked lots of our favourites for your other meals, it looks like you should have a great trip!

I personally dont like Chef Mickeys, but since you have 2 very young boys, I think they would love Chef Mickeys way better than the castle. Im sure they would prefer to see the fab 5 over princess. ;)
Have fun! You have some AMAZING dining choices!

I agree with the many others, unless your boys have a great interest in Cinderella, I don't see why you would eat there. One other thing I noticed is Crystal Palace for Breakfast. They do a better lunch/dinner than most but breakfast is very standard. I would try for CP for dinner that night since you are already at MK. Chef Mickey is IMO boring for dinner. They do standard fare at all times, so we usually do them for breakfast
